Artists in the studio in East London

Background | Inspiration | Materials

Growing up in the quiet Lithuanian countryside, I found joy in simple pleasures – walking barefoot on warm summer days, swimming in wild waters, listening to the sounds of nature, and watching the stars at night. Nature has always been a deep source of inspiration for me. I enjoy observing, listening, and fully experiencing it through my senses.

My artwork explores themes such as the interconnectedness of all life, the relationship between body and environment, natural cycles, and the flow of energy between the inner self and the outer world. I don’t follow a single painting style; instead, I embrace creative freedom and experimentation.

In my paintings, I use a variety of materials to explore texture and form. I often include object-like elements, embroidery, and shaped canvases, combining them into unconventional compositions. My focus is on how different elements can come together to form a unified, expressive whole.
